Terrance L. Massey, Jr. (T.J.) joined JONES WARD PLC as an associate in 2011. T.J. earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. While in law school, he was chosen by his peers to serve as the class representative on the Student Bar Association and was also a member of the Honor Council.

T.J. attended the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League college in Philadelphia, PA where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. While at Penn, he was a 4-year varsity member of the crew team and majored in Diplomatic History.

After graduating from Penn, T.J. began his professional career as a political aide to United States Senator Mel Martinez in Washington, D.C. T.J. worked as the Senator's staff aid for the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations African Sub-Committee and represented the Senator at meetings with Foreign Ambassadors and visiting dignitaries. In 2007, T.J. transitioned from his committee work and began advising the Senator on domestic issues primarily health care, telecommunications and transportation.

While working as a law clerk for JONES WARD PLC, TJ gained vast experience in pharmaceutical litigation by working on cases involving Yaz, Yasmin, Ocella, Digitek and others. As an attorney for JONES WARD, TJ will continue to work in the firm's pharmaceutical injury practice group.
