The motorcycle handlebar clamp on all 2011 KTM and Husaberg off-road/competition can develop cracks during normal use that causes the handlebars to move from their set position. This can result in the rider losing control of the vehicle, which poses the threat of serious injury.
Anyone that owns a 2011 KTM off-road motorcycle should stop using it immediately. Anyone that has been injured because of this malfunction should make sure they keep the motorcycle in a safe place. A qualified expert will need to look at the motorcycle to make sure the malfunction occurred through normal use.
