An Arkansas jury has issued a $19 million jury verdict on behalf of an Arkansas man paralyzed in a car wreck. The verdict was announced in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas against Ford Motor Co.
The lawsuit arose after 18-year-old Eric Polston was driving a Ford Windstar minivan about five years ago. He swerved to avoid hitting a dog but he was ejected from the vehicle despite wearing a seatbelt at the time. He suffered paralyzing injuries.
