Wally's Nut House, LLC of Oak Grove, MO, is recalling its 16 ounce packages of Tailgate Crunch Mix, Sweet Cajun Heat Mix, Country Western Mix, Cranberry Raisin Mix, Party Mix, Hot 'n Spicy Mix, and Louisiana Cajun Mix snack mixes because they may contain undeclared milk, soy, and/or wheat.

Consumers who have allergies to milk, soy, and wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Please contact the company if you have any of these products.

Kentucky Recall Lawyers: Hospire Expands Recall

The Kentucky Drug recall lawyers bring you the following announcement from the FDA:

Hospira, Inc. (NYSE: HSP), a global specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company, announced today it is voluntarily expanding its March 31, 2010, recall of Propofol Injectable Emulsion 1% and Liposyn™ (Intravenous Fat Emulsion) products which include Liposyn II 10%, Liposyn II 20%, Liposyn III 10%, Liposyn III 20%, and Liposyn III 30% to the consumer or user level. Hospira is conducting the recall because some of the containers may contain particulate matter.

Kentucky Recall Lawyers: Orlistat (marketed as Alli and Xenical) Has Label Change

The federal Food & Drug Administration is notifying patients that it has approved a revised label for Xenical to include new safety information about cases of severe liver injury that have been reported rarely with the use of this medication.

Xenical and Alli are medications used for weight-loss that contain different strengths of the same active ingredient, orlistat. Xenical (orlistat 120 mg) is available by prescription and Alli (orlistat 60 mg) is sold over-the-counter without a prescription.

Patients should stop use of orlistat and contact their healthcare professional if they develop the signs and symptoms of liver injury, including itching, yellow eyes or skin, dark urine, light-colored stools, or loss of appetite.

Kentucky Recall Lawyers: Hylenex Recall

Baxter International Inc. has recalled all lots of Hylenex recombinant (hyaluronidase human injection) as a precautionary measure due to instances of particulate matter observed in a limited number of vials during routine stability testing.

Baxter believes there are approximately 3,500 vials in the marketplace.
